Quick Start

CAREL Protocol is live on Starknet Sepolia testnet. You need a Starknet wallet to get started.

Step 1 — Get a Starknet Wallet

Install Argent X or Braavos browser extension. Create a new wallet and switch to Starknet Sepolia testnet.

Step 2 — Get Testnet Tokens

You need testnet tokens to pay for transactions.

• STRK testnet: use the Starknet Sepolia Faucet
• CAREL testnet tokens: available from the faucet inside the CAREL app (Rewards → Faucet)

Step 3 — Connect Your Wallet

Go to carel-protocol.vercel.app and click Connect Wallet. Select your Starknet wallet. Once connected, your balance will appear in the top bar.

Step 4 — Make Your First Swap

1. Open the Trade tab
2. Select tokens to swap (e.g. STRK → USDT)
3. Enter amount
4. Click Get Quote
5. Review the preview and click Confirm Swap
6. Approve the transaction in your wallet

Your swap will be routed through the Swap Aggregator contract and confirmed on-chain.

Step 5 — Try Hide Mode

Hide Mode routes your transaction through the CAREL relayer so your wallet address is not linked to the on-chain transaction.

1. On the Trade tab, toggle Hide Mode on
2. Select a supported flow: Swap, Stake, or Limit Order
3. Enter your details and click Get Quote
4. Sign the intent payload in your wallet (this is not a transaction — it is a signature)
5. The backend generates a Garaga Honk proof and the relayer submits on-chain

The on-chain transaction will show the relayer’s wallet, not yours.

Note: Hide Mode requires the backend prover to be available. If proving is unavailable, the UI will indicate this. Hide Mode is testnet-only at this stage.

Step 6 — Try the AI Agent

1. Open the AI panel (floating button, bottom right)
2. Type a command: "swap 10 STRK to USDT" or "stake 100 CAREL"
3. The AI agent will parse your intent and show an execution plan
4. Confirm to execute — the agent handles routing and on-chain submission

For L3 (private AI execution), select AI Level 3 in settings. This combines AI routing with Hide Mode.

Earn Points

Every on-chain action earns points:

Points multiply with staking tier (up to 5x for CAREL stakers) and get a bonus in Hide Mode.
